How your free preview works

  1. Send your site and a few photos

Pop your current website or Instagram in the form, then send a few favourite photos you’re happy for me to use in the mock-up.

  2. Your mock-up in about 48 hours

I build a mock-up of your new homepage around your own photos, usually within about 48 hours of receiving them.

  3. A walk-through call, no obligation

We look through it together on a short video or phone call. No obligation and no hard sell: if it’s not for you, that’s fine.

The problem

Great photography, held back by the tools around it.

An outdated website

A template that looked fine in 2018, slow on mobile and nothing like the work you now deliver. Enquiries go to whoever looks the part.

A patchwork of tools

One subscription for the site, another for galleries, another for contracts and bookings. Your clients meet three logos and three logins before they see their photos.

Billed in dollars

Most of the popular platforms charge in USD, so your costs drift with the exchange rate and your card adds foreign-exchange fees.

Set up it yourself

Evenings and weekends spent wiring it all together, instead of shooting, editing or switching off. And nobody to call when it breaks.

Upgrade your clients’ experience

Custom website + client galleries, built for you.

Prints & products

Offer prints and products to clients from their gallery. Fulfilment is arranged with the lab you already trust.

Creative touches

Creative touches, built in.

A template gives you the same site as everyone else. Yours can have a few small surprises: an album that opens like the real thing, a voucher that tears, a photograph you can lean into. These are live, and they’re examples of what I can build into your own website.

FAQ

Questions photographers ask.

Can you move my existing galleries and clients across?

Yes, that’s part of the Signature build. I migrate your current galleries, client lists and contract templates, and set up redirects so your old links and search rankings aren’t lost. You keep working as normal until we switch over.

Who owns the website and my photos?

You do. The domain is registered in your name and your original files and client data are yours. If you ever leave, I’ll hand over a full export of your galleries and client data. There’s no lock-in contract beyond the monthly plan.

Will I be billed in pounds?

Yes. Everything with me is priced in GBP, ex VAT, with UK invoices. No dollar conversion or card foreign-exchange fees, and no surprise rises when the exchange rate moves.

How is this different from Pixieset or ShootProof?

Those are self-serve tools: you design, set up and connect everything yourself, and most bill in dollars. Here a person designs a bespoke site for you, moves your work over and looks after it, with one branded client experience and no commission on your sales. To be straight with you: they have polished apps, free tiers and built-in print-lab networks that I don’t, so if you sell a lot of albums through a lab integration, tell me when we talk and we’ll work out what fits.

How long does it take?

Typically four to six weeks from your free preview to launch, depending on how much needs migrating and how quickly we agree on the design.

What support do I get?

You deal directly with me, a real person in the North West, by email, WhatsApp or a call. The monthly fee covers hosting, security, backups, updates, support and small design tweaks, with a design refresh each quarter on Signature.

Can I keep my domain and email?

Yes. Your existing domain stays where it is or can be transferred, and any email you already use keeps working. I handle the DNS changes so nothing breaks on launch day.

How do payments and fees work?

Clients pay deposits and invoices through Stripe, with payouts going straight to your bank. I take no commission on your sales. You pay Stripe’s standard UK card fees, which at the time of writing start from 1.5% + 20p per UK card payment.
